The granulation plant, fully automated, entirely made of AISI 316 steel, and with an annual production capacity of approximately 5.0 million kg, ensures maximum product purity while preventing any external contamination, as well as complete batch uniformity, thus providing fully certified, high-quality medical-grade, non-toxic PVC granules.
The Tube Division, using extrusion technology, transforms SIFLEX® granules into tubing called SIFTUBE®, available in various sizes, hardness levels, finishes, and packaging depending on the intended end-use applications.
In addition, it produces PVC-FREE co-extruded tubing called MAGIFLEX® TUBE, used for forming steam-sterilizable flexible bags suitable for containing parenteral and injectable solutions in general.
The Tubular Division, using the same production process, transforms SIFLEX® PVC granules into tubing called SIFLAT®, available in various widths, thicknesses, and finishes depending on the type of container to be produced.
The Films Division, through a co-extrusion process using blown bubble quenching, produces PVC-FREE co-extruded films called MAGIFLEX FILM, used for forming flexible bags suitable for containing parenteral and injectable solutions in general.
The bag forming process is handled by the Forming Department, which is divided into the PVC Bag Department and the PVC-FREE Bag Department.
The PVC Bag Department occupies an area of over 750 m² in a “controlled class” environment and is equipped with 6 highly efficient automatic machines (approximately 80 million units per year).
The PVC-FREE Bag Department occupies an area of over 500 m² in an ISO 8 cleanroom and is equipped with 3 highly efficient automatic machines (approximately 15 million units per year).
The components that will be used on the bags or supplied separately are currently produced under license through outsourcing.
